Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF)

"We declare to you what we have seen and heard,

so that you also may have fellowship with us,

and truly our fellowship is with the Father

and with His Son, Jesus Christ."

                                                                     1 John 1:3

Through spiritual growth, educational and creative ministries and community service the Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF) of Central Christian Church (CCC) enables women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Christian Women’s Fellowship functions through the cooperative efforts of the Department of Church Women, a division of Homeland Ministries of the Christian Church, (Disciples of Christ), through the Bluebonnet Area of the Christian Church in the Southwest and with Church Women United (CWU).

The CWF program year functions September through May, with no meetings of the CWF or Groups during the months of June, July and August.

The groups meet September through May on the 1st Tuesday of the month. Group 1 meets at CCC at 9:30 AM and Groups 2 meet in various members’ homes at 10:30 AM.

On the 3rd Tuesday of every other month, September through May, the three groups meet together in the Makin Fellowship Hall for the transaction of business and a time of devotion, followed by lunch, a program and fellowship.

The CWF supports the following community organizations: Inman Christian CenterCAM (Christian Assistance Ministry) Fellowship of the Least Coin (through CWU) and the Children's Bereavment Center of South Texas.
