Infant Classroom

Infants (6 weeks-12 months)

Our Infant Classroom teachers are caring and compassionate. Our teachers strive to spend quality time with each infant in the room. We pride ourselves on cooing, cuddling, and rocking each child throughout the day. This bonding experience with your child will help develop the following skills:
  • Language development — using books, songs and activities that match your child’s development level
  • Cognitive development — using activities like peek-a-boo, hunt and find, and shape-sorting toys
  • Motor Skill development — grasping toys, tummy time, and toys to push and pull around the room
  • Sensory development — touching items with various textures and feeling materials in the sensory bin
  • Rest and nap time

Our Infant teachers are all trained in CPR/First Aid and SIDS. Each Infant teacher is required by the state of Texas to obtain 24 hours of childcare training per year. Our Infant teachers have excellent parent communication skills. To help communicate with you, your child's classroom teacher will complete and send home a detailed daily report. This form will outline your child's activities, mood, diaper changes, meals and nap times.

Our overall goal at Central Christian Church Childcare Center is to help your child feel safe, secure, and happy. As a parent, you can work and rest knowing that your child is comfortable within our childcare center and is receiving the best of care.
